We love gorgeous Canadian weddings and we love them even more when they’re captured by the talented Christie Graham. This beautiful, organic BC wedding is truly what wedding dreams are made of. Full of the sweetest details, this wedding captured our hearts with it’s family style reception, beautiful bridal party and stunning location. Christie has completely swept us away and has us wishing we had been there right alongside her.

From the photographer: Having spent ten years dating, Jessie and Mike collectively decided to marry at North Arm Farm, tucked away in the Pemberton valley surrounded by mountains and endless natural beauty.

Their wedding featured lush, organic florals, farm to table dining in a meadow and cold pressed juice cocktails provided by the bride’s brother’s company (a Vancouver staple: The Juice Truck). Place settings wowed the guests with thoughtful hand written calligraphy, vintage flatware and overflowing florals.

The bride wore an Ellebay gown, a local Vancouver designer. Her veil added a sense of tradition. The gorgeous maids wore romantic Monique L’huillier blush dresses with unique hair styles to complement their personality. The bride’s ring was housed in her grandmother’s monogrammed silver box as a nod to her legacy. All grandparents were recognized through their portraits in a lounge vignette for guests to escape the summer heat and relax.

Jessie and Mike designed a family-oriented ceremony, followed by a relaxed outdoor cocktail hour with their guests. As the sun set for the evening, guests danced the night away in the barn under generous amounts of twinkle lights. The elevated, cohesive design made for the perfect day, one Jessie and Mike will never forget.

From the bride (Jessie): Our top moments include:

– Our first look, it was so special having a moment that was just the two of us (and our wonderful photographer)

– The dance party, my extended family (all from out of town)hadn’t been together for awhile and definitely made their presence felt on the dance floor and our guests pulled out some very impressive moves

– Finally getting to say “I do” surrounded by the people we love on a beautiful sunny day

– If we can choose a fourth it would be the epic grilled cheese from Collective Kitchen on the shuttle back to whistler at the end of the night.
